There are two key things to consider before committing to the migration process: cost and method of migration. To see the differences in cost for your current plan and the new 2007 plans, click here to see our cost calculator.
You have two options for migration: a free manual migration which is detailed in this document or a $10 per user scheduled and automated migration that is assisted by Lanlogic. To learn more about the assisted migration, please see: Lanlogic Assisted Migration Guide for Existing Lanlogic Customers
Manual Migration Process:
Export existing mailboxes and any public folders to .PST files using Outlook. If you are using Entourage and do not have access to a PC using Outlook, you can manually move the files, but this will be a lengthy process. It is also a good practice to look through these newly-created files and make sure that all the necessary data has been moved. (This must be done for every user individually and as close to the time of migration as possible, as any un-exported mail will not be re-imported):

The Organization’s technical contact must request to have the organization removed from the Exchange 2003 service. To do this, send an email to support@lanlogic.com and let us know that you are manually removing the Exchange 2003 service with the intention on re-signing up for Exchange 2007. Deleting your org from Exchange 2003 will remove any and all data from our servers. If anything is not backed up, it will be permanently removed and, at this point, will not be recoverable.
Go to https://ex5.myhostedexchange.com/signup and sign up the organization anew and select the plan which best suits your organization and go through the rest of the sign up process. You will need to fill out the form completely but we will not need to actually charge your credit card since you are just re-setting up an existing organization.
After signing up you will receive an email requesting that you set a CNAME record, please disregard this. This will be handled on Lanlogic’s backend to help expedite the migration process. You will then receive the official welcome message with the new admin username and password. Please note that this welcome message has new MX records that you will need to change to get mail delivered to the new server. (If you are using Postini, let us know and we can make the appropriate changes via the Postini interface. You will not need to make any MX record changes.) Once you have received this message, you can recreate all of your users using the following information:

Once your users have been created, you will need to delete the old Outlook or Entourage profile and create a new one for them using the instructions below. Please note that you MUST create a new profile after the migration rather than just editing the existing profile. Editing an existing profile will cause serious problems with opening the mailbox.
Configuring Outlook:

Configuring Entourage:

NOTE: If you do not have Outlook 2007 or Entourage 2008, here are instructions on how to download it: http://www.lanlogic.net/support/kb/Knowledgebase/Download-Outlook-or-Entourage-for-Shared-Exchange-customers?Keywords=download
Once the new accounts have been configured, you will need to import the pre-existing mailbox data. If you are using Entourage, this will, again, be a manual process in the same manner mentioned earlier. If you are Outlook user, you will import the data file you created with these instructions:
http://www.lanlogic.net/support/kb/Knowledgebase/Import-data-in-Microsoft-Outlook-?Keywords=import
The final step should be configuring any wireless devices you may have. You will need to remove any existing server information via a wipe of the device or by removing the old data. Here are instructions for all the connection types that we support:
