Configure Outlook to open your Shared Exchange 2003 or 2007 mailbox

How to configure Outlook using our Desktop Outlook Setup tool

Please note that Outlook should not be running on your computer while you go through these steps.

  1. Open Internet Explorer

  2. Go to https://cp.myhostedexchange.com

  3. Logon with the email address and password for the account you are setting up.

    • If you are an organization administrator, you will have these additional steps (if you are not an administrator skip to step 4):

      •  Click on List users

      •  Check the box next to your account and then click on "auto login"

  4. Click on "Desktop Outlook Setup"

  5. Click the "Download Executable" link then choose to save the file to the desktop.

  6. When the download is finished, go to the desktop and double click on ProfConf.exe

  7. Click on Configure

This utility will also add an icon  to your system tray that will automatically log you into Outlook so you do not need to type your username (your email address) and password in every time.  If you wish to get rid of this automatic login tool, you can right-click on the program's icon in your taskbar and select "uninstall."
