Reliable Offsite Backups with Instant Web-based Recovery

In the event of a disaster such as a lost, stolen or damaged computer, Lanlogic can provide you with the following options to recover your data:

1. Install the Lanlogic Desktop Backup client to a new machine and recover the backup data to the new machine.
2. Login to the Lanlogic Desktop Backup web interface on any computer and choose the files you wish to restore. These will then become available to you to download as a compressed archive file.
3. Request that Lanlogic restore your data to physical media and have it shipped it to your location.

Options 1 and 2 are relatively straight-forward and are covered in our knowledgebase. These options can be used in conjunction with option 3 should you need access to certain files immediately and can wait for other large files to arrive via FedEx.

Physical Media Restoration Process and Costs

The process and cost to restore data from a single computer to physical media depends on

• How much data you need to recover
• How quickly you need the recovered data

In order to make things as painless as possible, we provide two options for backup storage:

• Thumbdrive: 0-8 Gigabytes
• USB 2.0 drive 9-150 Gigabytes

We do not restore to DVD because of the fragility of these disks.

Media is delivered via FedEx. We offer standard ground or overnight options.
