is billed at 3 cents for the first minute and 1.3

Dial Backup Networking
Plans: Use ISDN or Analog Dialup as a backup connectivity
solution
Recent industry trends make it clear
that no connectivity solution is 100% reliable. Whether
your company subscribes to ISDN, DSL, T1 service, there's
always the possibility that your service may be interrupted
due to a network failures with your carrier. If it's
important to keep email flowing and vpn access available
then analog or ISDN dial backup services are a reasonable
solution. With the appropriate hardware, dial backup
can be configured to automatically connect into our
dialup network upon a connectivity failure.
For T1 clients, it is possible to
subscribe to an alternate T1 carrier and use BGP
routing to allow all of your traffic to automatically
transfer to the surviving connection in the event of
a connectivity failure. BGP routing enables your business
to connect to two Internet providers so that routing
is determined between the providers based on the distance
to the destination of your Internet traffic. Lanlogic
supports both full and partial routes.
