I spoke with a friend this weekend who let me know that he wasn’t getting voicemail alerts on his iPhone and, when he spoke to AT&T about it was told they’re aware of the issue and don’t yet have a fix for it.
I, on a lark, checked my voicemail on my iPhone this morning and, lo and behold, there were 27 messages waiting for me!
To check your messages on your iPhone, while the alert isn’t working, you just need to call your own cell phone number. You’ll be automatically connected to voicemail and can check your messages from there. Hit 7 to delete a voice message and move on to the next one!
(The “good” news is that 22 of the 27 messages I had were all from my wife… Sorry dear!)
