Some people need to access individual folders inside someone’s mailbox using Outlook Web Access on Exchange 2007. Now if you have full mailbox access to this person’s mailbox then accessing it is very simple. You just log into your OWA mailbox, click on your name in the upper right hand corner and type in the person’s name. It will then open the full mailbox in another window for you. Now if you only have permission to view let’s say a calendar or contacts folder then you would still need to login to your OWA mailbox but in the address bar, remove everything after the /owa/…….. and put in the following: https://mail.myhostedexchange/owa/email_address/?cmd=contents&f=contacts . You would put in of course the email address of the person’s mailbox folder you are trying to access and the last part is the folder name which you have permission to access.. You can change this to calendar, contacts – whatever folder you need. This will then open a new window with the folder you requested access to!
