Thanks to Amy, here is a quick set of instructions on how to setup your Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) on your blackberry to access your mailbox on hosted exchange. Please keep in mind that it only sync’s mail items, there is no calendar, contact, tasks or notes sync with this service.

From BlackBerry home screen, select  the BlackBerry setup icon

Select Personal Email Setup

Select Email Accounts

Select Add An Email Account

Enter Email Address:  name@domain.com

Enter password: (the password for the account)

Select Next

Here, it'll error out and tell you that it can't configure the account.  This is expected.

Select "I will provide settings to add this email account".  You do not need to enter your email address/password on this page.

Select "Next"

Select "Outlook(R) Web Access" as the type of account

Select "Next"

For Outlook(R) Web Access URL, enter "http://mail.myhostedexchange.com"

For username, enter name@domain.com

For password, enter the password

For email address, enter name@domain.com

For mailbox name, enter name@domain.com

Select Next

If you get an error that you cannot connect, go back and check your settings... usually due to a typo.

You should see "You have successfully configured access to name@domain.com ".

Select Close

Now go to your home screen and test sending/receiving email.
